Report Name: Activity by Search Keyword

Report Description:

You can find keywords used by visitors to find your web site and the number of visits, transactions, and revenue per keyword. According to the screenshot, “long range weather forecast” is the most efficient key phrase that has brought 1,867 visits, 18 orders, and $254.52 revenue.

The report shows what keywords the majority of your visitors use to find your web site, and how they contribute to your revenue. You can change the report modifier to get the conversion rates and/or drill down to see a trend. Analysis of this information can help you to single out the most efficient keywords and focus on key phrases with the highest conversion rates.

Available Report Periods:

Day, week, month, year

Available Report Modifiers:

Switch from Amount to Conversion to get the ratios. All transaction numbers are divided by the visits sum total, so here you find the transaction to visits ratios.

Available Charts:

‘Activity by Search Keyword’: Pie and bar chart for the period summary. ‘Activity by Specific Keyword’: Trend chart and pie and bar chart for the period summary.

Available Drill-down Report:

Drill-down Report Description:

The drill-down report gives the number of visits (or any of the transactions you’ve set up) by a shorter period of time (by day for a monthly report on the above screenshot) per selected search keyword. The current number of visits is compared to the average and maximum amounts.

Available Drill-down Report Values:

Visits, any of the transactions that you’ve set up, and revenue from them, if applicable. To change the report from visits trends to a transaction or revenue trends, select a transaction name or ‘Revenue’ on the drop-down menu.
